I’m Amanda. And I quilt. Well, I try to quilt, but sometimes I get bogged down with going to college full-time and raising two boys and reading and napping and eating chocolate. But when I have time, I quilt. I [mostly] love modern quilts – more about that on the blog. I joined a guild for a while, but it wasn’t for me – more about that on the blog. I don’t have a fabric line or an Etsy shop. I haven’t written a book and I don’t design quilts or sell patterns. No, I won’t sell you a quilt and you can’t pay me to make one for you – more about that on the blog. I don’t have a long-arm quilting machine, but I do all of my own quilting on my Janome 6600p. So what do I have? Opinions. Yep, those I have in spades; along with tips, confessions, reviews, commentary on the world of quilting, and some of my favorite quilty things. So step away from the guilt of a sewing room full of UFOs (that’s unfinished objects), dig out those JoAnn’s coupons (blasphemy, I know) and see how this Super [Quilty] Mom gets things done (or not).
